If you’ve ever interacted with our admin team, chances are you’ve experienced Harry’s friendly and calm presence—whether over the phone or through a seamless behind-the-scenes solution. As one of the key administrative team members at Forbes Care, Harry brings warmth, adaptability, and a strong sense of purpose to everything he does.
From Customer Service to Purpose-Driven Admin Work
Before stepping into his role in administration, Harry spent most of his career in customer service. While he enjoyed the people-facing side of that work, he was looking for something a little different—something more purpose-driven, where he could still connect with people but also support a bigger mission from behind the scenes.
“What I enjoy most about working at Forbes Care is the sense of purpose—it feels great knowing I’m supporting a team that’s doing meaningful work every day.”
Steady, Supportive, and Always Adaptable
One of Harry’s standout strengths is his adaptability. In a fast-paced allied health environment where no two days are the same, he’s quick to adjust to changing priorities and keeps things running smoothly—often before anyone realises they need help.
“I use notes and reminders to stay organised. It helps me stay efficient and makes sure nothing gets missed.”
He’s also known for being approachable and easygoing, which helps both clients and clinicians feel comfortable reaching out.
Creating a Positive Experience, One Task at a Time
Whether he’s setting up schedules, problem-solving with an OT, or greeting a client with a smile, Harry brings an energy that’s all about making people feel supported and valued.
“I try to keep things positive and friendly. By being approachable and offering help when needed, I aim to make sure both clients and clinicians feel looked after.”
What His Team Says
From his supervisor’s perspective, Harry’s humour and natural rapport with people are invaluable:
“Harry’s key strengths include his strong interpersonal skills and sense of humour, which create a welcoming environment for both clients and staff. He’s approachable, laid-back, and always willing to take on tasks without hesitation.”
Behind the scenes, Harry is often the first port of call for our clinicians, helping set up their day for success and jumping in whenever someone needs a hand. It’s this quiet consistency and team-first mindset that makes Harry such a key part of Forbes Care.
The Forbes Care Culture? He’s a Fan.
When asked what he enjoys most about the team culture, Harry doesn’t hesitate:
“Everyone has each other’s back. It’s a supportive and friendly environment, and it really feels like a team effort.”
We’re grateful for the energy, calm, and care Harry brings to the Forbes Care team every day. Thank you, Harry—you truly help hold it all together!
